Where was it?

This blog had almost 100 visitors today from the UK, there was obviously a program on TV about it, if you watched it please let me know what channel it was on and what is was called. Thanks a million!!!

The Video footage was again shown today, Sunday February 14th 2010, on the UK TV Channel Virgin 1. The programme was called World's Most Amazing Videos and was shown at 9am GMT.; 14 February 2010 at 09:35

The story was told with video on South African Kyknet channel 111 at 1900 GMT on Thursday 11th (part 1) and same time same channel on Thurs 18th (part 2).Regret could not find the two ways you helped to save the survivors from the Captain but can guess one of them. Hi, My name is Rose, I am one of the Survivors of the Oceanos which sank off Coffee Bay on the Wild Coast of South Africa on August the 4th, 1991. As one of the largest rescues in maritime history I was rescued by helicopter 2 hours before she sank but you can read my story here. I have created this blog in memory of the Oceanos and all who sailed on her.

The boy stood on the burning deck Whence all but he had fled; The flame that lit the battle's wreck Shone round him o'er the dead.

Yet beautiful and bright he stood, As born to rule the storm;A creature of heroic blood, A proud, though child-like form.

The flames rolled on–he would not go Without his Father's word; That father, faint in death below, His voice no longer heard.

He called aloud–'say, Father, say If yet my task is done?'He knew not that the chieftain lay Unconscious of his son.

'Speak, father!' once again he cried, 'If I may yet be gone!'And but the booming shots replied, And fast the flames rolled on.

Upon his brow he felt their breath, And in his waving hair,And looked from that lone post of death In still yet brave despair.

And shouted but once more aloud, 'My father! must I stay?'While o'er him fast, through sail and shroud, The wreathing fires made way.
